Microneedling is a skin care treatment that uses tiny needles to create small tears in the skin. The body counteracts this by producing new collagen and fresh cells to repair the skin. The newly-formed skin cells replace the damaged ones, resulting in smooth skin and smaller, less visible pores.
With only 0,5mm long needles, this micro needle roller is safe for at-home use. It can be used with all of our serums and takes as little as 60 seconds to use.
BENEFITS:
- rejuvenates & plumps the skin
- stimulates hair growth on beard, hair line, bald spots , thinning hair
WHAT'S IN THE BOX:
1 x Derma roller
1x Isopropyl alcohol to Sterilise
- Safe & painless: The 0.5mm needle roller is safe to use at home. You may experience a little bit of discomfort the first few times, but your skin will quickly adjust and get used to it.
HOW TO USE
STEP 1: Sterilise your dermaroller by soaking it in an alcohol solution for 5 min (isopropyl alcohol will be provided with your order ) this is to prevent infection
STEP 2 : Wash your hair and scalp with a mild, sulfate-free shampoo and either blow dry it or let it air dry until it is completely dry.
STEP 3 : Divide your scalp into sections, especially if you are targeting specific areas with thinning or hair loss. This will help you ensure even coverage and avoid over-treating one area.
STEP 4 : Roll gently, Hold the derma roller at a 45-degree angle to your scalp. Begin by gently rolling it back and forth over one section of your scalp. Avoid pressing too hard, as this can cause discomfort or damage. You should feel a mild tingling sensation but not significant pain.
STEP 5 : Change direction After a few passes in one direction (e.g., vertical), change the direction to roll horizontally and then diagonally. This ensures that you create tiny micro-channels evenly across the treated area.
STEP 6: Wait before applying products. After using the derma roller, it is best to wait 24 hours before applying any products, including the rapid hair growth oil and butter . This allows your scalp to recover from the micro-injuries created by the derma roller.
STEP 7 : Clean the derma roller After each use, thoroughly clean the derma roller with rubbing alcohol and allow it to air dry before storing it in a clean, dry place.
RECOMMENDATIONS & CAUTIONS:
*Keep the roller in storage case after use and keep away from children - Patch test before use - Only suitable for personal use.
Do not share the roller with others - Not recommended on lips and under eyes - If irritation occurs, immediately stop using
Are there any side effects or risks to consider?
Derma rolling is a minimally invasive procedure so as long as you use the right technique in conjunction with the right serum, you’re unlikely to experience side effects.
* Some people should avoid derma rolling completely. This includes those with eczema, psoriasis, or a history of blood clots.
* Don’t let anyone else use your roller and replace it at least once every 3 months to prevent irritation from dull needles.
* Do not use the derma roller on any open wounds, inflamed areas, or active skin conditions.
How often should you repeat the process?
* Start once every two weeks to see how your skin reacts to the needles.
Just make sure you aren’t going over the 2-minute limit each time.
